"Official" photo Shoot

4-13 was a cloudy, dismal, and rather unappealing day.

Our brothers were engaged in a volleyball tournament at Messiah College, and I brought my camera. I had the greatest idea of doing an official "photo shoot" with my dearest friend. I thought I had told her about this, but apparently she didn't get the phone message. Despite inconsistent drizzle, we managed to have a good time.

At first, she was rather stiff and wary. Having a camera in your face is not exactly the most authentic or natural setting.
As we walked and wandered over the campus, she began getting ideas, and warming up to my style, and liking the results. ;) Then, the sun came peeking through the fog and clouds, and things began to happen!

I think every photographer should listen to the subject's ideas. Because more likely than not, the subject will be more natural in their idea than when working on an idea of the photographer's.
Say "Roarrrrrrr!!!"

"It's a stick!!" "I know it's a stick!" "So what should we do with it?" "Why don't you hug it?" (awesome randomness!!!!)

My absolute favoritest!!!!!
Musing on the covered bridge

And so ended the best photo shoot ever!! <3 you Sarah!
